Client Agreement & Terms of Service

Effective: March 2026

1. Nature of Services

Tables & Terroir, LLC provides custom travel itinerary recommendations only. We are a travel advisory service, not a booking agent or travel supplier. We do not book, purchase, reserve, or confirm flights, hotels, restaurants, activities, tours, or any other travel services on your behalf.

All suggestions in your itinerary are recommendations based on research, personal experience, and third-party information available at the time of delivery. Tables & Terroir, LLC has no affiliation with, and no control over, any third-party travel supplier.

2. Fee Acknowledgment

By completing your purchase, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following:

  • You are paying a planning and advisory fee to Tables & Terroir, LLC for the creation of a custom travel itinerary.

  • This fee is for our time, research, and expertise. It is not a deposit toward any travel bookings.

  • All costs associated with your actual travel (flights, hotels, meals, activities, etc.) are separate and are your sole responsibility.

  • You are paying a planning and advisory fee to Tables & Terroir, LLC for the creation of a custom travel itinerary.

3. Client Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the following:

  • Verifying all itinerary details including business hours, prices, availability, and reservation requirements before and during travel.

  • Independently booking and confirming all travel arrangements including flights, hotels, restaurants, activities, and transportation.

  • Obtaining all required travel documents including valid passports, visas, entry authorizations, and health documentation.

  • Reviewing all applicable travel advisories, entry requirements, and safety information for your destination(s).

  • Purchasing appropriate travel insurance for your trip.

  • Complying with all laws, regulations, and entry requirements of your destination country or countries.

4. No Guarantees

Tables & Terroir, LLC makes no guarantees regarding the availability, quality, safety, pricing, or continued operation of any business, venue, or service recommended in your itinerary. Restaurants close. Hotels change ownership. Prices fluctuate. Conditions change.

All recommendations are made in good faith based on information available at the time of delivery and reflect our genuine experience and research. We are not responsible for changes that occur after your itinerary is delivered.

5. Assumption of Risk

Travel involves inherent and unpredictable risks including but not limited to: illness, injury, property loss, travel delays, cancellations, natural disasters, political events, and other circumstances beyond anyone's control. By purchasing an itinerary, you voluntarily assume all such risks associated with your travel.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tables & Terroir, LLC, its owner, agents, and assigns shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, cancellation, overbooking, price change, or other issue that occurs before, during, or after your trip, including but not limited to:

  • Acts or omissions of any third-party travel supplier, venue, or service provider.

  • Cancellations, closures, or changes made by any business recommended in your itinerary.

  • Weather events, natural disasters, or acts of God.

  • Political instability, government actions, or public health emergencies.

  • Your failure to obtain required travel documents or comply with entry requirements.

  • Any personal injury, illness, or financial loss arising from your travel.

In any event, the maximum liability of Tables & Terroir, LLC to you shall not exceed the fee you paid for your itinerary.

7. Refund Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued once work has begun on your itinerary. We stand behind the quality of our research and recommendations, but we cannot control external factors such as business closures, weather, global events, or changes in third-party availability.

If you have a concern about your itinerary, contact us at help@tablesandterroir.com and we will make reasonable efforts to address it.

8. Intellectual Property

Your itinerary is created exclusively for your personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, publish, or share your itinerary (in whole or in part) for commercial purposes. Tables & Terroir, LLC retains all intellectual property rights in the content, format, and structure of all itineraries produced.

9. Dispute Resolution

We genuinely hope to resolve any issue directly. If you have a concern, please contact us at help@tablesandterroir.com and we commit to responding within 3 business days.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through good faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice, both parties agree that the dispute will be submitted to binding arbitration in the State of Ohio. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party will bear their own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

This agreement does not prevent either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Summit County, Ohio.

11. Entire Agreement

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Tables & Terroir, LLC with respect to your itinerary purchase. It supersedes all prior communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written. If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
